Kanna also gives a calming, euphoric and relaxed feeling at a certain dose. This miraculous plant was praised by the Hottentots, a people from the present-day province of Western Cape South Africa, for its miraculous psychoactive effects. Mesembrime is an alkaloid present in Sceletium tortuosum (Kanna). This alkaloid has similar effects to many anti-depressant drugs. This probably explains the signs of happiness in the Hottentots after using the Kanna. This 10x extract is 10x stronger than the normal Kanna variety.

Use

This Kanna extract can be sniffed, chewed or made into a tea. The dosage for a cup of Kanna 10x tea is 20mg and when you chew it, for example with chewing gum for flavor, the dosage is 5 to 15mg extract. For sniffing, the dosage is 7.5 to 15mg.
